This was the nastiest pizza I ever had! The cheese was imitation. The crust was soggy. The wings taste like a rubber shoe .I swear these mother f**cks microwaved my wings. Please don't eat this crap.

They left a flier under my door at the Hyatt. Says 100% halal food. No way will I support anything related to islamic law.

Three words - don't go here. Zero stars. Horrible place. Hot dining room filled with smoke from the kitchen. Couldn't breathe. My Chicken Parm was three chicken fingers sitting on a bed of spaghetti. Not even real chicken, but factory-formed "chicken product" made from pulverized chicken with heavy breading glued uniformly around the faux chicken. The red sauce was right out of the can. It took them half an hour to prepare. As bad as it was, they could have thrown it together in 5 minutes. I could have gotten a frozen dinner from the Winn-Dixie supermarket next door which would have been of higher quality. This may be the worst restaurant in Florida and perhaps the nation.

(This review is only for the Italian aspect of the restaurant, not the Mediterranean aspect) We stopped in for late night pizza on our vacation. We started with the bread sticks (probably my favorite part of the meal). It was a like a flavorful pizza crust, without toppings. I ordered cheese sauce, but there was a weird dot of something on the top of my cheese cup, so I just didn't eat it. I would have told our server, but she was literally around 7 years old. I think it's a family owned place. The mom took the orders, the dad makes the pizza, and the little girl gets your napkins and things. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half cheese. The marinara was solid--which is important for any pizza place. The crust had a garlic and herb flavor, which was tasty. It was just like the breadsticks, with marinara and toppings. Overall, I think after a long day on the beach in the sun...this would be just the place to bring you dinner to your hotel. I wouldn't dine in again.

Normally I wouldn't provide a review about food ordered at 2 am after a long Saturday night at the bar, but the pizza from Roma was so bad I couldn't help myself. It wasn't the lack of toppings, or straight from the can sauce that I'm going to complain about, because even that would be tolerable in the condition I was in. I am totally horrified to report that the "dough" of this pizza was something that I am convinced they dug out of the back of the walk in. This wasn't Pizza Hut frozen dough, this was pre formed, rock solid, sorry excuse of a foundation for cheesy goodness. I don't want to forget to mention the sprawl of dried oregano all over the pie, not a sprinkle, but it had appeared that someone spilled an entire jar of it, and tried to cover it up by spreading it around. I woke up the next morning, hoping it was a bad dream but no, I saw the 20 dollar pizza sitting in the trash...but that is exactly where it belonged. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from Roma ever, ever again.

I agree with everyone else that only gives this place one star. Anyone who might want to punish themselves can check this place out otherwise Stay Away. All the negative comments about this place are true. Not a clean table to be found, trash on the floor, curse words displayed on the wall, kids playing in the kitchen. I can only this place would get shut down so no one can accidently wander in.

I don't know if there is a ZERO star review, but this place is the ISIS headquarters of dirty food! Everything here tastes like your local kennel was killed and served to you on a plate! NEVER EVER COME HERE!! Food poisoning beware :( service was worse than Obama's campaign! Food is worse than Majic Johnson's dick on a biscuit!

The place was empty which should have been a dead give away that this was not a good choice. There is no alcohol yet it is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY due to obscene language on some of the posters. Made for interesting dinner conversation with our group if 5-11 year olds! The kids liked the wings and the cheese sticks. The pizza was ok, not great. I ordered falafel and they were out . So I ordered spinach pie , thinking it would be like spanokopita, but I got a small spinach pizza with no sauce . The server was not knowledgable but she was friendly .the Greek salad tasted like the lettuce had been frozen, and the black olives were not kalamata. The bill for 6 was $47 even, which seemed weird, like they just made up a number. No tax or itemization . The only reason we went here is because we thought we were going to a different place we found on yelp, which turned out to be a bogus listing with the same address as Roma! The old bait and switch. Pathetic. Just go to Winn Dixie next door and buy a frozen pizza. It will taste better.

Just got in to Daytona last night and went looking for a pizza joint. Definitely a bit scary on first glance, but the food didn't disappoint. Tried the cheese, pepperoni and margherita pizza along with some hot wings. Nothing out of this world, but good pizza and wings.

Super pizza (both Margarita and Cheese), but the garlic bread bites are not to be missed. Delicious!

Was not expecting much as I read reviews, however the pizza was really good - especially the Margherita pizza. They need help with the interior and customer service.

TERRIBLE customer service (no one served us the first time we came for over 20 minutes), HORRIBLE food (pizza was not cooked properly, cheese was still raw). Avoid this place at all costs!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
